In 1997 Mark R. Ballard Founded Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului in order to establish a location to serve families on Maui and throughout the State of Hawaii.

Ballard Family Mortuary was the recipient of the National Funeral Directors 2005 & 2006 PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE AWARD.
