Gail Yeager, a longtime resident of Maui (Kihei and Makawao), born October 22, 1935, in the Bronx, New York passed away unexpectedly at 1:35 pm Tuesday, May 14th.

She is survived by her life partner, James Awai, Sisters: Loretta Bacon and Sherry Williams, Daughters: Jacqueline Cullati, Michelle Rogers and Toni Marie Davis, Grandchildren: David Williams, Sev Jimenez, Tim Cullati, Brad Cullati, George Matthies, Jennifer Matthies, Melisa Culbreth, Jeremy Culbreth, Arlene Culbreth, Jo Marie Culbreth, Ashley Davis, Haley Davis and Edward Davis and 13 great-grandchildren & Best Friend: Elsie Bush. We will miss this beautiful soul who touched so many lives with her kind giving spirit.

She enjoyed playing mahjong and taught bridge at Kaunoa Senior Center and was a wonderful Chef. She is with the Lord now in heaven with her son, George S. Matthies.

Services will be held Tuesday, May 21st 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Ballard’s Family Mortuary.
