Obituary for Patrick "Pito" Guerrero

Patrick “Pito” Guerrero, 71, of Wailuku passed away peacefully under the care of Islands Hospice on May 12, 2019. He was born on February 15, 1948, in Hawaii to George and Mary Guerrero.

Services will be held at St. Anthony Church in Wailuku on Thursday June 6, 2019. Visitation will begin at 9 am with Catholic Mass starting at 11 am. Burial will follow at Maui Memorial Park Cemetery in Wailuku.

In his youth, Patrick worked with his parents at Guerrero Store in Happy Valley. Patrick graduated from H.P. Baldwin High School and joined the Army Reserves. Patrick then worked as a Waste Water Technician for the County of Maui until retiring with 26 years of service. Patrick next worked for several years for the State of Hawaii as an Agriculture Inspector at Kahului Airport.

Patrick was predeceased by his wife Carol Guerrero, his son Solomon “Kaleo” Guerrero, his parents George and Mary Guerrero, and his brothers Phillip “Jimmy” Guerrero (Feliza-surviving) and Benjamin Guerrero. Patrick is survived by his son Conrad (Leilani) Guerrero, his sisters Rosaline (Lolito) Sagocio, Ellena Borling; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Smith. Patrick is also survived by 9 grandchildren Destiny, Jaret, Vanessa, Alexander, Austin, Isaac, Bronzen, Draven, and Sylas, his great-grandchild Ryzen, and many nephews and nieces.
