Alfonso Tacalan Taal, 76 of Wailuku, Maui passed away on July 29, 2019 under the nurturing care of Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born in the Santo Domingo, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on January 26, 1943 to the late Victor and Rosalina Taal.
Alfonso is survived by his wife, Prelina Taal; sons, Nelson (Veronica) Taal, Herbert (Karren) Taal; grandchildren, Christian Taal, Trevor Taal, Sophia Valdivia; great grandson, Adam Taal; siblings, Teresa Tadeo, Johnny Taal, Milagros Urmeneta; in-laws, Renato Tacardon, Amparo Tacardon.
Services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2019 at Norman’s Mortuary. Visitation to begin at 6:00 p.m. with prayer service to begin at 7:30 p.m. Services will continue on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Christ the King Church. Visitation to begin at 8:00 a.m. with Mass to begin at 9:00 a.m. Burial to follow services at Maui Memorial Park at 10:30 p.m.
