Margaret Alexander, 92 of Hilo, Passed away on September 24, 2019 at her residence. She was born February 12, 1927 in Santa Paula, CA. She moved to Japan with her husband, and built a 42ft. sailboat. She sailed around the world with her family, and settled in Hilo. Built and operated the Dolphin Bay Hotel. Before retiring she built another sailboat to continue cruising, then returned to Hilo in her later years.
