Obituary for Abraham Joseph Kekuawela Jr.
Sgt. Abraham J. Kekuawela, Jr., 86 of Wailuku born February 26, 1933 peacefully went with the lord on November 22, 2019. Mr. Kekuawela was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Army Veteran. He worked at Valley Isle Express as a Xerox delivery person. He loved boxing and bowling and was an avid golfer with the Fil-Am Golf Club.
He was predeceased by his wife, Cressie Bardon Kekuawela; daughter, Roxanne Lani Baraoidan; and son, Abraham J. Kekuawela III. He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Hank) Brown; stepsons, Joe (Diane) Pacheco, Jr., Stanley Pacheco, Kenneth Oogie Pacheco; stepdaughters; Lillian (Johnny) Feliciano (deceased), Peggy Pacheco; brother, Herbert (Linda)
Kekuawela, Sr.; sisters, Katherine Honey (Frank) Plada (deceased), Flora Queenie (Nicholas) Rodrigues (deceased), Agnes Leilani (Antonio) Gonzales (deceased), Dolores Dollie (Jim) Horan (deceased), Doreen
Kekuawela. He leaves behind 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Ballard Family Mortuary in Kahului. Service will begin at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at 1 p.m. at Maui Veterans Cemetery in Makawao.
