Solomon Kaauamo Jr, 77, of Pauwalu, Maui passed on Friday, February 14, 2020 at Maui Memorial Medical Center. He was born on February 24, 1942 in Hana to
Solomon & Cecilia Kaauamo of Wailuanui, Maui.
He was a retired Supervisor for the County of Maui-Hana Highway division and a dedicated Kalo Farmer.
Solomon is survived by his Wife, Hannah Kuulei Sheldon Kaauamo; Daughters; Debbie (Jon) Dancil, Cindy Naone, Darlene (Tre) Franzen, La’salle Noelani Kaauamo, Michele (Rendell) Andrion and Son; Robert “Bobby” Ambrose; 16 Grandchildren and 24 Great Grandchildren. Siblings; Christine Seto, Cecilia Haugan, Emily (Kamalana) Kalalau, Pauline Sinenci, Jeanette Kaauamo, Herman (Lynette) Kaauamo, James Kaauamo Jr, and Radford Kaauamo along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.. Solomon is Predeceased by his parents, Son; Solomon “Kolomona” Kaauamo III. Siblings; Elizabeth Azeka, Michael Kaauamo, Mary Ann Ching, James “Kamaka” Kaauamo, Samuel “Ekela” Kaauamo and Hanai son Tau-a Pahukoa.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Ballard Family Mortuary with a Prayer service to follow.
The family requests no floral Wreaths. Leis are welcome.
