Richard Hong, 88 of Hilo, passed away on September 14th at Yukio Okutsu Veterans State Home in Hilo. Born in South Kohala, Hawaii, he retired as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service, and an United States Marine Corps veteran.


No service at this time due to Covid-19 restrictions.


He is survived by his daughter Ricki (Sandra Bogaars) Hong; hanai sons Steven Abe, Robert Guerrero; 2 grandchildrens; numerous nieces and nephews.
