James Soares, 73, of Hilo, HI, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016, at Life Care Restorative Care Center of Hilo. James was born on April 30, 1943 in Pepeekeo. He retired as a Mechanic. Celebration of Life to be held at Mohouli Park (1052 Kumukoa Street Hilo, HI 96720) on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Celebration starts at 11:00am. He is survived by his wife Loretta Soares of Hilo, HI; sons Rick (Marcia) Soares of Hilo, HI and Steven (Laryssa) Soares of Hilo, HI; daughters Linda (Troy) Haspe of Hilo, HI, Debra (Don) Tobara of Volcano, HI and Wila Paiva of Hilo, HI; sister Betty Lou Fernandez of Oahu, HI; 11
