Donald Gilbert Nitsche
January 20, 1930 – October 28, 2016
Donald Gilbert Nitsche, 86, of Ocean View, Hawaii, was born in Seattle, Washington on January 20, 1930, and passed away on October 28, 2016 at home. Donald served our Country in the US Navy, “Seabees”, and was a Korean War Vet. He served his community in Ocean View in many ways including obtaining a water well.
He is survived by spouse Martha; son Karl (Anafel) Nitsche of Napil, Maui; daughter Jahna Brown of Ocean View; sister Lynn Layton of Seattle, Washington, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Military Honors are scheduled for Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 12:00 at West Hawaii Veteran’s Cemetery. Memorial services are scheduled for Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Kahili Blvd., Ocean View, Hawaii.
